Assessment and Reporting

Student performance is formally reported on two occasions each school year, Semester One and Semester Two.  A school report is prepared in accordance with the Diocesan Assessment and Reporting guidelines, providing information about student progress.

Individual performance is measured against stage appropriate outcomes, with achievement determined by the administering of quality assessment experiences, both for and of learning.

Parent/teacher/student learning conversations are held in conjunction with the written report. In Semester One meetings are compulsory with Semester Two being optional.

At other times during the school year parents or teachers can request an interview to discuss a students performance. The teacher, outlining the key points discussed and the meeting outcome, completes and files a meeting report.
